Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (TIFR), Mumbai hereby invites applicants for “Walk-ininterview for one position of Project Assistant (Physics).The selected candidate is expected to work in following areas
Physics Olympiad (Theory)
National Initiative on Undergraduate Science with emphasis on administrative work
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree / Master’s degree in Arts, Commerce or Science with a minimum of 50% of marks.
Candidate should have basic knowledge of Word processing, Spreadsheets and Presentation.
Proficiency in English language, Linux OS and Latex is desirable.
Salary: The position is purely temporary, for one year in the first instance and extendable by one or two more years. A consolidated honorarium will be paid as follows.
For Project Assistants with Master's degrees - Rs. 10,000/- during the first year, Rs. 11,000/- during the second year and Rs. 12,000/- during the third year + HRA 30% in lieu ofovernment accommodation.
For Project Assistants with Bachelor’s degrees - Rs. 7,500/- during the first year, Rs. 8,500/- during the second year and Rs. 9,500/- during the third year+ HRA 30% in lieu of Government accommodation.
