Job Description:
Overall System Administration of Ericsson Charging System 4.0 / 5.0
Performing installation, configuration of CS4 & CS5 Nodes, mainly CCN and EMM.
Integration of Core Network Nodes with BSS/Mediation.
End to end troubleshooting for the issues related to BSS Platform, Fault Management, User Management, Software/Hardware Management and BSS nodes (AIR, MINSAT, VS, EMM, EMA, CRS and CS-NMT).
Perform release upgrades on BSS nodes and roll-out
Trouble Ticket /Change Request handling as per SLA/WLA
Customer Service Requests (CSR) handling (Analysis, Troubleshooting, and Corrective Maintenance) for the complex faults.
To handle emergencies and on-call support.
Solution Management for Customized Business Object – Templates / Reports.
Co-ordination with Design Unit - BSS
Coordination with GTEC site for physical Hardware Support.
Deliver services within site engineering, integration and/or configuration and/or support of products and networks in accordance with clearly defined specification in the customer contract.
Identify and isolate malfunctioning systems/nodes and if possible apply resolving processes.
Plan and design networks within a given framework and in accordance to contract specification. Participate in network / node optimization.
Conduct limited customised integration of products/networks, including 3rd party products.
Carry out appropriate site design and layout, after a site has been approved.
Required Technical Skills:
Should have good knowledge & understanding of GSM / WCDMA
Good Knowledge & Understanding of SUN Solaris/ Linux / UNIX (Certification preferred)
Good Knowledge of Storage Technolgy.
Should have good knowledge & understanding of Support Processes
Good Knowledge & Skills on System Administration of BSS.
Preferably hands-on experience of Integration & Commissioning of BSS.
Candidate having Ericsson nodes (AIR, MINSAT, VS, EMM, EMA, CRS and CS-NMT) experience will be preferred.
